Meyer papers, 1871-1903.

Record book, biographical material and miscellaneous documents; the Record book was kept by Meyer while Justice of the Peace. This ledger book, 1871-1873, contains records of all the cases tried before Meyer as well as an index of names; the 667 cases include assault, petit larceny, disturbing the peace, fraud, attachments and demands. A few pages of marriages for the period 1871-1872 are at the end.

Pioneer, Pima County Justice of the Peace; he settled in Tucson in 1854 and established the town's first drug store.
